A lightly toned and well centered early tetradrachm from Syracuse

SICILY. Syracuse. Deinomenid Tyranny, 485-466 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 16.85 g, 5 h), circa 480-475. Charioteer, holding kentron in his right hand and reins in his left, driving slow quadriga to right; above, Nike flying right to crown the horses with a wreath. Rev. ΣYRΑΚ-ΟΣΙ-ΟΝ Diademed head of Arethusa to right, her hair drawn up at the back and wearing pearl necklace; around, four dolphins swimming right. Boehringer 57 (V30/R28). HGC 2, 1306. SNG ANS 13 (same dies). Lightly toned and well centered. Light marks and scratches, otherwise, very fine.
